From June 4 to June 9, 2025, as part of an investment promotion program at the invitation of the Embassy of Vietnam in the Kingdom of Belgium – the Permanent Mission of Vietnam to the European Union (EU) – a delegation from Quang Ninh Province, led by Mr. Vu Van Dien, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, conducted an official working visit to Belgium. Accompanying the delegation were representatives of provincial departments and several leading enterprises, among which Thai An Holdings played the role of strategic partner
In the framework of the trip, a milestone highlights is the signing ceremony Memorandum of understanding (MOU) between Thai An group Holdings and Intergovernmental organization UnASDG (Intergovernmental Organization for UN-Aligned Sustainable Development Goals) – an international organization that works to promote the goal of sustainable development (SDG) on the global scope.
Memorandum marked the recorded official organization UnASDG operations in Vietnamwith support role to monitor and promote the initiative sustainable development in accordance with international standards. In particular, UnASDG committed grants worth $ 500 million for the project, SDG in Quang Ninh province – focus on the areas of: green infrastructure, education, public health, renewable energy, and conversion of serving people.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, representatives UnASDG appreciate the efforts of the province of Quang Ninh and Thai Security Holdings in shaping the pattern of development people-centered, respect for nature and toward harmony between economic – social – environmental. Grants of $ 500 million not only bring financial sense, but also the strategic trust of the international community on the potential for sustainable development of Quang Ninh and Vietnam.
Parallel to that, Thai Security Holdings has also signed many MOUS with corporations and leading companies in Europeto promote investment flows high quality in Vietnam. The areas of cooperation include: environmental technologies, building infrastructure, smart, heritage preservation, real estate development, green, and solutions, digitization of public services. The European partners committed to the same Thai Security Holdings in implementing a number of pilot projects in Quang Ninh province, thereby making model for replicated in other localities in the country.
